A great impact of climate changes is the increased frequency and severity of floods. It was in response to the effects of the growing and increasingly intense urban storms and sudden flooding problems, that the CENTAUR™ idea was born.
CENTAUR is an awarded autonomous system, for reducing the risk of urban floods.
It detects the situation prevailing in the sewer system and uses artificial intelligence to decide when to halt the flow or let it move forward. In this way, urban floods are avoided. The technology takes fool advantage of the entire urban drainage infrastructure capacity, instead of building more.
